By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
Jason’s last SUN AM service at HGBC-North
After 7 years of serving the worship ministries of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, God called me to join another church’s work in Monroe, NC; Lee Park Church, under the leadership of Pastor Chris Justice, was to be my next stop on the journey home.
This is my last corporate worship service at HGBC-North Campus in Charlotte, NC. I will miss it terribly.
I was born in Wilmington, NC, was raised in Bolivia, NC, attended college in Boone, NC, and currently reside in Charlotte, NC. I am married to Vince Lanier, and am the father of three fine boys. I have served in worship ministry for over 20 years and currently serve as Pastor of Worship Ministries at LIFE Fellowship, Charlotte with Dr. Bobby Conway & Dr. Dan Burrell.

haha jason! that was good. seems to me after all these years that “i bowed on my knees and cried holy”seems to be your signature song. and don’t go telling Brandon stories cause i got one on you.. you remember.. my first solo.. what did you play? good luck and keep in touch!
Hey Jason!
Larry and I are visiting Sarah who showed us your Facebook Blog. We are most impressed with your video performance and your writings. That is about like writing a term paper! You put a lot of time and thought into that. Your boys are really cute. I wish you had a picture of Vince, I’d like to see her. Larry is an interim pastor again. He is facing the same problems your church is facing about the decline in membership and getting young people involved . Please let us know when you have it all figured out You look great!
Lots of Love,
Larry and Lynn Farrell
PS. We always look for you when we go to Backyard Burgers.
